Time for a Marketing Tune-Up

Marketing Tune Up

Now that we’re midway through 2013, let’s take a step back to evaluate this year’s marketing efforts so far. Things may be going great as is…or maybe there are some items that need improvement.  It happens to all of us and it may be time for a marketing tune-up.

Here’s some items on the tune-up checklist:

1.  Review past campaigns.

  • What are the results telling you?
  • Are you meeting your goals?
  • What tests worked or didn’t work?

2. Understand your audience.

  • Do you really “get” their needs and attitudes toward your product or service?
  • Do you know the best channel to reach them?

3.  Stay current.

  • What tools are available to you that can help you connect with new industry trends?
  • Could a new test idea spring new life into one of your existing campaigns?

4. Talk to experts.

  • Do you know the questions to ask or do you need some assistance?
  • Do you have trusted sources you can ask these questions to?
